This striking pair of vintage cloisonne enamel vases features a classic baluster form with a flared rim and a bulbous body. Each vase is richly decorated on a turquoise ground with intricate wirework separating enamel cells in shades of red, brown, green, blue, and white, depicting a dynamic dragon and phoenix motif amidst stylized clouds. The necks are adorned with floral scrolls and lappet borders, and the bases feature a band of scrolling floral motifs. The undersides bear an embossed square seal mark containing the characters "乾隆年製" (Made in the Qianlong Period). In traditional culture, the dragon and phoenix are symbols of harmony, prosperity, and good fortune. These vases are a striking example of traditional cloisonne craftsmanship and make a distinguished addition to any collection.
