Impressive vintage Asian-inspired glazed ceramic elephant garden stool featuring a striking glossy black finish and an elaborately decorated saddle in shades of ivory, turquoise, cobalt blue, green, and warm gold.
This substantial sculptural piece features beautifully modeled elephant details, including a gracefully curved trunk, raised ears, and decorative saddle panels with intricate floral motifs.
The rectangular saddle top provides a functional surface, making this piece equally attractive as a decorative side table, plant stand, or sculptural accent.
Its richly glazed surface displays beautiful aging, including areas of crazing, finish variations, and wear that contribute to its distinctive vintage character.
A wonderful addition to Hollywood Regency, Chinoiserie, Asian-inspired, eclectic, maximalist, or traditional interiors.
Particularly striking beside a velvet sofa, in a conservatory, or incorporated into a collected Old World interior.
