Hand-blown in Canada, this miniature sculpture is expertly crafted into a heavily textured, ridged scallop shell silhouette. The piece features a striking iridescent favrile finish with a mesmerizing "oil-on-water" sheen. Deep forest greens and rich metallic golds dynamically shift to highlights of cobalt blue and deep violet depending on how the light hits its surface. The underside is completely documented, retaining the original gold foil studio label reading "Robert Held Hand Made in Canada Art Glass" alongside the authentic hand-etched maker initials "RHAG" (Robert Held Art Glass). A perfect statement piece for coastal modern, eclectic, or Hollywood Regency interior styling. I love the iridescent glass and the simple shell shape. See less
