Elevate your space with this captivating mid-90s vintage serigraph titled "Serengeti Rainbow" (Catalogued 1994) by internationally acclaimed Israeli-Romanian artist Edwin Salomon (1935–2014).
Known for his striking, quasi-surrealistic depictions of the animal kingdom, Salomon beautifully captures a dynamic herd of running zebras. His signature graphic style utilizes flowing lines, rhythmic patterns, and an atmospheric, misty gradient palette that beautifully balances moody deep-blue hues with earthy ground tones.
This piece is an authentic, original fine art serigraph (silkscreen) on paper, hand-signed and numbered in pencil by the artist along the bottom margin.
Provenance & Framing:
Adding immense value to this particular piece is its excellent vintage presentation. It comes professionally custom-framed and double-matted in a sleek, gallery-grade black frame. The backing retains its historical provenance label celebrating the 15th anniversary (1979–1994) of Omar's Gallery in Southern California, confirming that the piece was officially cataloged and custom-framed in 1994. It is in excellent vintage condition and arrives ready to hang.
Note: The current owner isn't able to verify this piece is original, other than the provenance listed above, however, this piece was purchased from a shop known for selling second-hand art.
Perfect for Eclectic, Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, or Safari-inspired interiors.
