These sterling silver hoops are a version of a flowing, organic reinterpretation of a heart silhouette. Part branchlike, part calligraphic line, this hoop design instantly became a classic. There is always a different take on the hoop earring, but Elsa Peretti pushed the boundaries with this design. The silver wire feeds through the ear, and when the hoop is looked at head on, the elegant and organic twist of the wire becomes apparent, presenting from some angles as a narrow figure-eight or infinity sign. The Open Heart hoop earrings come in several sizes: this is the larger size. Size makes a difference in perception, and these larger hoops make a bolder statement with their presence.
