Striking vintage 1970s table lamp featuring a tall faux-bamboo column topped with sculptural metal palm fronds and set on a stepped square base.
The lamp has a rich dark brown and bronze-toned finish with an antiqued effect that gives the piece plenty of depth and character. The bamboo-form shaft, architectural base, and dramatic metal foliage create a strong Hollywood Regency and tropical-modern look with lots of Palm Beach personality.
At approximately 30" tall, this is a substantial statement lamp with enough scale to work beautifully on a console, credenza, large side table, or in a layered tropical or eclectic interior.
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The finish shows surface marks, rubbing, tonal variation, and areas of natural patina, particularly to the metal palm fronds and raised edges, as pictured. These signs of age add to the lamp’s vintage character.
