The table is made of high-quality solid wood and veneered with decorative spice, which is mirror-folded on the top and creates a distinctive pattern typical of luxury furniture production of this period. The elegantly shaped top is set in a plastically profiled frame and rests on four slender, hand-carved legs with a characteristic decorative shell motif. The legs are finished with distinctive zoomorphic ends resembling eagle claws gripping a ball, which is one of the typical features of furniture inspired by the English Chippendale style. This style is based on the designs of the famous London furniture maker Thomas Chippendale from the 18th century and was often reinterpreted in high-quality artisanal production in the 20th century. The table looks very elegant and thanks to its harmonious proportions it is ideal as a smaller salon or occasional table for classic interiors. It stands out especially for its beautiful veneer pattern, fine hand carving and stable construction. The condition is very good, the table is solid, without signs of worm infestation and ready for immediate use. Dimensions: height 76 cm, width 88 cm, depth 62 cm See less
