This vase is a classic example from Östergren's 1500 series, hand-decorated and signed by Einar Törning distinguished by its bold organic forms contrasted with graphic surface decoration —hallmarks of Scandinavian Art Deco and Swedish Grace design.

Rendered in Black glaze, the vase is accented with contrasting Gold organic detailing, creating a dynamic interplay of color and form. Both sculptural and decorative, the design captures the confident modernism of the era while remaining timeless in its appeal. The vase is signed with Einar Törning's monogram on the underside.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition for its age. There is light age-related fade of the gold glaze on the top of the vase, consistent with early 20th-century ceramics, but no cracks, chips, or restorations.
