A rare, large Le Lorrain soliflore vase, in the Berluze shape, crafted from polychrome marbled glass in shades of golden yellow, ochre, and brown.
Its striking silhouette is characterized by a rounded body, extended by a very long, tapered neck, lending it an elegant verticality. The glass exhibits subtle marbling and speckling effects, creating a rich and nuanced surface that shifts with the light.
This piece belongs to the production of the Belle-Étoile Glassworks in Croismare, a manufacturer associated with the Daum company, and exemplifies the Art Deco aesthetic of Lorraine glassmaking from the 1920s and 1930s.
The vase is signed "Le Lorrain" and bears the inscription "1/9" under the base. At 56 cm tall, it is a particularly imposing and decorative piece.
