This visually captivating and shape-refined floor lamp in the spirit of Bauhaus functionalism dates from the 1930s in Czechoslovakia. The artistic concept of this solitary lighting fixture stems from modernist principles of strict utility, optical purity, and the uncompromising use of modern industrial materials. The architectural structure of the entire piece is built upon a slender, highly glossy chromed steel rod rising from a flat round base, while the upper section is complemented by a height- and direction-adjustable lampshade made of elegant opal glass. Austere lines, a dynamic horizontal arm element, and the perfect interplay of glossy metal with white opal glass give the lamp a timeless industrial expression and maximum user comfort.

The item has undergone a complete, highly professional, and sensitive restoration combined with thorough professional cleaning of the metal parts and the implementation of new professional electrification according to standards. Experienced restorers have thus successfully restored one hundred percent functionality of the positioning mechanism and maximum aesthetic appeal while preserving absolute historical authenticity, subtle patina, and the high collector's value of this unique piece.

Thanks to its renowned modernist origin, top-tier craftsmanship, and utterly timeless design, this floor lamp serves as a highly prestigious yet fully functional element in a modern interior. It stands out perfectly in a representative living room next to a reading armchair, in a luxury minimalist study, or as a breathtaking design solitaire in a space emphasizing top-tier interwar functionalism.
