A refined pair of adjustable wall lights by Florian Schulz, Germany, dated March 1993. Executed in nickel-plated metal, the lamps show the precise, architectural quality associated with Florian Schulz lighting: clean geometry, functional adjustability and a beautifully restrained modernist presence. Each light features a cylindrical wall mount, articulated arm and rectangular reflector shade, allowing the light to be directed with ease. The nickel finish gives the pair a cooler and more sophisticated appearance than the more commonly seen brass versions, making them especially suitable for contemporary interiors, libraries, bedside settings, gallery walls or above a sofa.
The lamps carry a stamped production/date mark indicating month 3 / 1993. Their design language reflects the timeless German modernist aesthetic often associated with 1970s and 1980s architectural lighting, while the dating places this pair firmly in early 1990s production. Very well made, elegant and functional, these Florian Schulz wall lights offer a strong combination of collectible German design, practical use and understated luxury.
