Hollowed from a single section of timber, this substantial vessel embodies the raw beauty and honest utility of traditional rural craftsmanship.

The planter features a beautifully weathered surface that has developed a rich, organic patina over decades of exposure and use. Deep variations in color, natural fissures, tool marks, and age-related cracks contribute to its sculptural character, making it as much a decorative object as a functional planter. The interior reveals the hand-hewn construction, with visible carving marks that highlight its artisanal origins.

Its cylindrical form and textured surface lend themselves perfectly to wabi-sabi, rustic, primitive, and organic modern interiors. Whether used as a planter, cachepot, log holder, or standalone decorative vessel, it brings a sense of history and authenticity to any setting.

Presented in original antique condition, with age-related cracks, surface wear, and old traces of woodworm consistent with its age and long period of use. See less
