This vibrant, one-of-a-kind lidded vessel features a bulbous, spherical body with a translucent, smoky-grey base that is dynamically wrapped in sweeping ribbons of bright yellow and bold, organic patches of vivid orange and green. Adding a sharp, graphic contrast, the top rim of the base is finished with a distinct, bright red lip. The vessel is crowned with a tailored lid crafted from opaque white glass, which is detailed with radiating yellow stripes and finished with a classic clear glass double knob finial.
The artists Matti Klenell and Simon Klenell are his sons. Marks & Year of Production The underside of the vessel exhibits a polished pontil mark, a testament to its hand-blown, artisanal construction. It is hand-engraved with the signature "Klenell 2012" along the polished base, officially dating this unique art piece to 2012.
