We present this antique Italian bedside table, dating back to the late 18th century and featuring the stylistic and structural characteristics typical of the Directoire period.

Crafted from fine walnut wood, the piece stands out for its simple, clean lines, free from excessive ornamentation. Its design is defined by rigorous yet elegant forms, with slender, tapered legs that lend it an extraordinary sense of visual lightness.

Equipped with a practical top drawer for small items and a spacious cabinet compartment, it combines everyday utility with the charm of antique furniture. The magnificent walnut patina—warmed by the passage of time—creates the inviting atmosphere that only genuine antique wood can convey. Its light color makes it perfect for a classic bedroom or as a sophisticated contrasting element in a modern living room.

It is in good structural condition but shows some signs of wear consistent with its age; please note, in particular, the marks on the tabletop—authentic traces of its history that remain visible (please see photos). A piece of great historical charm, perfect for enriching your home: while originally designed for the bedroom, today it can find a place in any setting, serving as a unique and distinctive feature.
