It possesses the quiet charm of objects with a soul. This beautiful Jumo GS1 desk lamp from the 1960s perfectly embodies the functionalist aesthetic of the post-war era: understated, robust, and surprisingly elegant in its simplicity. Thanks to a double-jointed articulated gooseneck, a mechanism as ingenious as it is effective, its shade can be oriented in any direction. This is a fine example of French industrial design from the period, ideal for a desk, console, or bookshelf, adding that extra touch of character that only vintage objects can provide.
The lamp is vintage and dates from the 1960s. It is in good condition with discreet signs of wear. Traces of oxidation and some chrome loss are visible on the base. The cover for the push-button switch is missing, but this does not affect the lamp's functionality.
Shade: 19cm in diameter and 18cm in height. Base: 18cm in diameter and 3cm in height. Approximately 60cm in height. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
