The composition unfolds across a deep dark green ground, while pale blue and aqua landscape formations create multiple levels and give the scene an atmospheric quality. A prominent seated figure surrounded by attendants forms the principal focal point, with additional figures distributed throughout the garden.
The landscape is richly populated with flowering branches, delicate blossoms, palms, ornamental trees, birds, and waterfowl, creating a highly detailed botanical setting.
