Standing approximately 15 inches tall, this substantial hand-blown vase features rich cranberry-pink glass surrounded by thick clear crystal. Its elongated organic silhouette terminates in a striking four-point folded and pulled rim, while the base is formed with sweeping clear-glass pulls that create a sculptural, almost floral appearance.
The combination of cranberry glass encased in clear crystal, substantial weight, fluid pulled elements and expressive hand-worked form is characteristic of Chalet's celebrated Canadian art glass production, particularly its Cranberry in Clear Crystal work.
The vase is unsigned and retains no original label, so although its construction and design strongly support a Chalet attribution, we are conservatively offering it as attributed to Chalet rather than definitively signed Chalet.
A particularly attractive statement piece for a Mid-Century Modern interior, art glass collection, console, credenza or display cabinet.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs observed.
Several small trapped air bubbles and a minor internal/manufacturing inclusion are visible within the glass. These are original characteristics of the hand-blown glass rather than chips. Please refer to the detailed photographs.
