It is made of stunning solid flame mahogany and is raised on three "gun barrel" turned columns on quadruple swept reeded sabre leg bases terminating in brass caps and castors. It has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This makes it a versatile dining table which can comfortably seat twelve people. The underside bears labels for William Tillman. This table was purchased at great expense from the master cabinet maker William Tillman, at Harrods, Knightsbridge, London, in the 1980s There is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome dining table, which is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection, and a talking point with guests at meal times. Provenance: Collection of the late Mr Gladwyn Turbutt (1927 - 2025). Condition: In excellent condition, having been beautifully cleaned, polished and waxed in our workshops; please see photos for confirmation.
