A bold vintage table lamp featuring a sculptural black body accented with a large raised gold-tone Asian-inspired medallion. The substantial geometric form, aged gilt detailing, and coordinating pierced finial give it a dramatic Chinoiserie and Hollywood Regency look.
The black finish has subtle texture and age-related character, while the dimensional medallion provides a strong focal point on the front. The matching decorative finial echoes the Asian motif and completes the design nicely.
A great statement lamp for a console, larger side table, nightstand, or credenza, especially in Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, Asian-inspired, maximalist, or eclectic interiors.
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, including scattered surface marks, finish wear, and small chips exposing the lighter plaster beneath, as pictured. The gold-tone medallion shows intentional-looking aged crackle and patina.
The lamp has been rewired with a new 3-way socket and is in working condition. Vintage brass-tone harp and decorative pierced finial remain.
