An original contemporary mixed-media collage composed of torn and layered papers, printed ephemera, painted fragments, and textured marks. A sophisticated palette of muted blue, charcoal, warm terracotta, ochre, cream, and black gives this small work a wonderfully earthy, collected quality.
The deliberately torn edges and overlapping fragments create depth and movement, while snippets of typography and organic shapes add an intriguing sense of history. The composition has an appealing balance between graphic design and spontaneous collage-making.
A one-of-a-kind original artwork with an organic, modern aesthetic that would work beautifully on a bookshelf, small gallery wall, desk, or layered art display.
