This charming vintage cloisonne enamel figurine features a pair of lovebirds perched together on a sculpted branch. Each bird is finely crafted with intricate wirework separating vibrant enamel cells in shades of red, blue, green, and yellow, depicting detailed plumage. The birds are depicted with expressive open beaks, as if in song. The base is modeled as a turquoise-glazed tree branch adorned with small yellow and purple blossoms, and a rectangular red plaque containing the characters "双喜临门" (Double Happiness Arrives at the Door). The piece is finished with gilt accents on the legs, tail, and base rim. In traditional culture, these birds are symbols of fidelity, joy, and good fortune. This sculpture makes a delightful addition to a collection of cloisonne or Asian decorative arts.
