A dramatic vintage Couroc of Monterey astrological tray centered by a terrestrial globe surrounded by a radiant metallic sunburst and the twelve signs of the zodiac.
The composition has a wonderful celestial quality—the zodiac symbols orbiting the globe create an almost astronomical diagram against Couroc’s deep black ground. Both decorative and highly graphic, it is especially appealing displayed as art when not being used for cocktails or entertaining.
Carefully cleaned and hand-polished prior to presentation, including the intricate metal inlay, to restore its original luster while preserving the character of the vintage piece.
Signed Couroc of Monterey and retaining its original Couroc identification.
One of four different vintage Couroc zodiac trays currently available in my shop. Please see the final photograph for the other designs offered separately.
