A striking vintage Couroc of Monterey zodiac tray featuring all twelve astrological signs individually rendered in round silver-tone metal medallions against Couroc’s signature lustrous black surface.
The restrained circular arrangement gives this piece a wonderful graphic quality, while the individually detailed zodiac medallions provide visual interest up close. A handsome example of Couroc’s distinctive combination of California design and artisan inlay work.
Carefully cleaned and hand-polished prior to presentation, including the intricate metal inlay, to restore its original luster while preserving the character of the vintage piece.
Retains its original Couroc label and molded “Couroc of Monterey California” mark.
One of four different vintage Couroc zodiac trays currently available in my shop. Please see the final photograph for the other designs offered separately.
