Elegant, late 20th century silver-plated basket featuring an oval silhouette, scalloped rim, and intricate pierced sides with repeating diamond and trefoil motifs. A broad swing handle arches over the basket and folds down when desired. Lovely lined with a linen napkin for bread or rolls, filled with decorative objects, or used to display small guest towels in a powder room. Its reflective finish and lace-like openwork complement traditional, English country, and romantic cottage interiors.
