Vintage hand crafted with a distinctive barrel-shaped profile, this versatile piece features a brilliant, deep emerald green glaze base. Each side is inset with a beautifully reticulated, pierced openwork panel highlighted by rich cobalt blue, amber yellow and cream tones. The pattern depicts ornate stylized botanic and traditional florals. The top surface features a smooth surface which allows this to function both as an interior side table, a drink perch, or statement patio accessory stool. Standing at 20"high, this classic example of late Qing Dynasty stoneware bridges functional seating and sculptural art.
