No maker's marks; these appear to be studio- or home-made, with a level of design and construction well above typical one-off work.

Each base is built from two flat pine planks slotted together into a cross, giving four tapered legs that splay slightly at the floor. A round footrest sits low on the base, with an aluminum edge band secured with screws. The seats are round and upholstered in red vinyl with a welted edge.

The pine has warmed to a rich honey tone with visible knots and grain. Color varies slightly from stool to stool, as expected with solid wood.

Condition: Good vintage condition; upholstery is soft and supple, wood in good condition with some scratches. Some lifting on vinyl footrests. Structurally sound and ready to use. See less
