A large coral-and-gold peony anchors the center of each vase, surrounded by blue, pink and green flowers and leafy sprays, with a fine red line at the foot and a clean band at the shoulder. The painting is by hand, so each vase has its own composition, which is part of the charm of a true pair.

The vases have been made into table lamps, each mounted on a turned dark wood base with a brass socket, so the porcelain-bright palette sits beautifully on a dresser, console, bedside table or sideboard. At 6" in diameter and 18" tall, they are slim enough for narrow surfaces and tall enough to carry a shade. The linen shades in our photos are for styling reference only and are not included.
