Painted on a sturdy 3/4" repurposed California redwood panel, the piece is layered with antique ephemera collage beneath a rich encaustic surface composed of beeswax, damar resin, and fine oil paints.

Set against a muted sage green tabletop, the scene features a teacup, a wedge of brie, bright yellow fruit, and a striking vase overflowing with textured white blooms. In the upper left background, subtle dreamlike figures and vintage text emerge through translucent layers of wax and pigment, giving the piece a rich, storied quality that invites close inspection. The antique book pages wrap fully around the 3/4" depth of the panel, creating a clean, finished presentation that needs no framing. See less
