The chairs have been fully restored, with each frame structurally revised to ensure it is solid and stable. The walnut has been refinished, highlighting its warm, deep brown tone and natural grain. The seats and backs have been completely redone and newly upholstered in a soft sprout green velvet-like chenille, finished with matching piping. The chairs feature tall upholstered backs framed by slender walnut uprights and topped with gently curved crest rails. The shaped lower edge of each back echoes the subtle curves of the front apron, while tapered front legs and gently curved rear legs create an elegant, streamlined profile. The restrained ornamentation and clean geometry are characteristic of French Art Deco design.
