Vintage Shore-Calnevar, Inc. countertop Sportwheels model display dating from approximately the 1960s–1970s. Created for automotive retail presentation, the display features four miniature chrome-finished wheel designs mounted against a vivid red painted panel.
Each wheel presents a contrasting spoke pattern and is individually labeled “Typhoon,” “Hurricane,” “Tornado,” or “Cyclone,” allowing customers to compare the available Sportwheels designs. The face is printed with “SPORTWHEELS by Shore-Calnevar, Inc.” in contrasting white script and block lettering.
A simple bent-wire easel stand supports the panel at an angle for countertop display. The compact format, polished wheel samples, and bold red-and-white graphics give the piece strong visual appeal as vintage automotive advertising or garage décor.
The display retains its original cardboard box marked “SPORTWHEELS MODEL DISPLAY by Shore-Calnevar, Inc.” Its surviving packaging and clean presentation suggest that the piece remained unused retail stock.
