For your consideration, a Chippendale or Georgian style vintage leather footstool.
It features a deep teal or slate blue leather top accented by brass nailhead trim running along the bottom edge of the frame.
It is supported by four intricately carved cabriole legs featuring decorative acanthus leaves or shell motifs at the knees, which terminate in classic claw-and-ball feet.
The legs and frame are typically constructed from a rich solid hardwood.
