A charming, highly detailed vintage hand-painted Italian Capodimonte porcelain figurine depicting a young boy kneeling next to a wooden crate containing a spotted hound. A sign on the crate reads "CANE IN VENDITA" (Dog for Sale). The piece features rich polychrome hand-coloring, expressive character details, and an ornate gilt-accented base.
While the Crowned "N" mark refers back to the historic Capodimonte tradition established in Naples in the 18th century, mid-century Italian studios frequently used this classic blue mark alongside hand-painted signatures like "Volta"
