This charming pair of vintage porcelain peacocks brings a vibrant, decorative presence to any interior. Each bird is finely modeled standing upon a rocky base, featuring a detailed, textured body in a rich green glaze with polychrome accents of yellow, blue, and aubergine on the folded wings. They have expressive faces with yellow beaks and purple crests, and are accompanied by sculpted peony blossoms on the bases. The undersides bear impressed marks. These figures are a colorful example of mid-century porcelain craftsmanship and would make a delightful addition to a collection of ceramic birds or Asian decorative arts.
