Strands of rattan are worked into a herringbone weave, a pattern that creates a lively, directional texture and highlights the skill of traditional hand weaving. Natural variations in tone across the evenly colored rattan add depth and interest, while a warm patina gives the surface the mellow, lived-in character that only comes with age. Its broad form and substantial presence make it an ideal statement piece: fill it with fruit, gourds, or pinecones on a dining or kitchen table, use it to display seasonal greenery or a cluster of candles, or set it on an ottoman or large coffee table to corral books, throws, and remotes. It also stands beautifully on its own as a sculptural accent on a sideboard or entry console. Its natural material and organic shape suit Boho, coastal, rustic, and organic modern interiors, adding a handmade, collected note to more polished rooms.

Measuring 27.5" W x 27.5" D x 11.75" H, the centerpiece offers a commanding footprint with ample capacity. It is in very good vintage condition. The woven rattan shows a warm, natural patina consistent with age, with minor scuffs and slight surface wear typical of gentle use. The piece is structurally sound with no visible breaks or repairs. As with all vintage pieces, minor signs of age and use may be present; please review the photos carefully as part of the condition description. See less
