This charming pair of miniature bronze guardian lions brings a touch of history to any desk or shelf. Each lion is finely cast in a seated posture upon an integral rectangular pedestal, featuring detailed curly manes, expressive faces, and muscular forms. One lion rests its paw upon a small object, adding a playful dynamic. The bronze exhibits a rich, dark patina with prominent green verdigris throughout the recessed details, giving them an ancient, excavated appearance. Their compact size and solid weight make them ideal for use as decorative paperweights or as part of a collection of Asian metalware.
