This striking pair of gilt bronze statues depicts Qilin, mythical hooved creatures from traditional folklore, captured in dynamic, prancing poses. Each figure is finely cast with a body covered in overlapping scales, flowing manes, and expressive faces with open mouths. They are adorned with decorative saddles featuring a central flaming pearl motif, and their legs end in stylized hooves. The bronze exhibits a rich, dark patina with a gold-toned finish on the raised details, giving them a distinguished, antique character. These figures are powerful symbols of protection, prosperity, and good fortune, making them an impressive addition to any collection or interior space.
