stunning, authentic piece of vintage Italian art glass by master artisan Franco Moretti. This exquisite vase belongs to his highly sought-after "Salvo" glass line, showcasing the traditional Venetian scavo technique. The specialized finish creates a beautifully textured, matte surface that perfectly mimics the look and feel of an ancient archaeological Roman vessel. The body features a gorgeous, mottled seafoam/celadon green finish, sharply contrasted by rich reddish-amber glass on the flared rim and the two delicate, applied handles. It is a striking balance of rustic texture and elegant Mid-Century Italian craftsmanship.
This beautiful piece is in perfect condition. No flea bites or cracks. The two marks pictured are part of the slavo process. Moretti's Salvo line is highly desired.
