A newly restored Scandinavian modern floor lamp with integrated side table, produced in Denmark c. 1960s.
The lamp is built around a tall, slender stem rising from a sculpted bulbous base that resembles a droplet of water frozen in place. The fluid shape gives the lamp a strong organic quality that compliments the solid wood built. A circular side table punctuates the stem at side table height, with a softly rounded edge that continues the smooth, curve-driven design.
The base, stem, and table are made from solid afrormosia, often referred to as African teak. Its grain patterns resemble those of teakwood while the color and chatoyance are similar to that seen in sapele mahogany.
The lamp is paired with a 19-inch Restoration Hardware drum shade installed by the previous owners.
The wooden components have been fully refinished and present exceptionally well, with traces of prior use visible only on close inspection. The socket and wiring are new. The shade shows some prior use, including scattered areas of light discoloration.

Table height: 20.75 inches
Width: 15.25 inches
Depth: 15.25 inches
