Beautiful signed studio pottery vessel by noted Oregon potter Lee Kitzman, known for his Pacific Northwest ceramic work and Japanese-influenced pottery.
This hand-thrown piece features a rounded form with striking incised geometric decoration, contrasting textured clay, and softly variegated cream, taupe and blue-gray glazing. The combination of geometric motifs and organic glaze variation gives it a wonderful Mid-Century Modern / modernist studio pottery feel.
Signed “Lee Kitzman” on the underside.
Measures approximately 6.5” tall × 5.5” wide and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or notable damage.
A distinctive collectible piece of Pacific Northwest studio pottery and a beautiful addition to a curated ceramics or American art pottery collection.
