Santa Fe folk artist Jorge Rodriguez created this wiley coyote out of cottonwood and possibly pine in the mid-1980's. This guy is a natural wood color with white painted accents on feet, ears and tail. He sports his original wire whiskers and a jaunty red bandana. Coloring and wood condition are pristine as it was displayed indoors.
Coyote stands 17.5 inches high and is about 7 inches deep from front paws to back of tail. Width of front paws about 6 inches. Very light weight as is characteristic of cottonwood.

The artist utilized some wood filler in places to keep natural line of animal but is very well matched to color of wood. (See detailed pictures at base of back feet and around tail). Has all original wire whiskers and original red bandana. This is a piece of handmade vintage folk art so keep in mind that it may not be perfect. That's the charm of folk art.
