Cream and soft blush layers have worn through in places to reveal the aged teak below, with a trace of green in the cracks. The top is bare wood with a round socket at its center, a reminder that this was once part of something larger.

At 12.5 inches square and 7 inches tall, it sits low and steady. Set a pillar candle or a vase on top, use it as a plant stand or a riser for a lantern, or lay a tray across it for a small side table beside a sofa or bed. The square footprint gives it more presence than a round base, and the soft finish suits a quiet, collected room. Because it is teak, it can also stand on a covered porch or patio. See less
