An eagle-topped pendant light with a clear ribbed glass shade and richly aged metal patina. I upcycled this hanging ceiling fixture using a vintage eagle finial and vintage fixture, keeping the original chain and canopy and adding new wire and a new socket.
The fixture body measures 15 inches high by 12 inches wide, while the glass shade alone is 8 inches high. The chain with canopy measures 40 inches, which can be easily adjusted to the desired length. This light features a clear ribbed glass shade with a shaped lower edge, vintage eagle finial, and vintage fixture components. The original chain and canopy have been retained, and the new wire and socket have been tested and are working. This is a hardwired hanging ceiling light.
The condition is good vintage with heavy, beautiful patina and age-related finish wear. Minor wear and scratches are a normal part of vintage items unless stated differently. The glass has minor nicks; no cracks or broken areas reported. Please review the close-up photographs for surface wear and glass detail. This is an upcycled combination of vintage components. The maker, metal composition, and exact component dates have not been verified.
A vintage eagle finial and vintage lighting fixture have been brought together to give these pieces another life. Their aged surfaces were retained, with new wire and a new socket added for the finished light.
