Vintage French hand-blown glass vase from Biot, dating from the 1960s–1970s.
This iconic piece from the Biot glassworks on the French Riviera is distinguished by its thick glass dotted with trapped bubbles, an iconic signature of French craftsmanship.
Its elegant, organic shape, accentuated by a decorative central ring, makes it both a decorative and functional object. It can be used as a flower vase, a decorative carafe, or simply as a sculptural piece for mid-century, wabi-sabi, or seaside décor.
Each Biot vase is unique: the randomly distributed bubbles are a testament to authentic craftsmanship.
