Timeless, classic design with 8 panelled sections.

The cherry wood body, featuring panelling on the sides, stands on four slightly tapered square legs and is accentuated by blackened mouldings on the plinth and cornice. Two doors, constructed in frame-construction, are hung on external brass hinges. Inside, the wardrobe is fitted with a shelf and a clothes rail. Modifications or extensions to the interior fittings can be carried out by arrangement.

Height: 210 cm  /  82.68 in.

Width: 112 cm or 119 cm (including top moulding)  /  44.09 in or 46.85 in (including top moulding).

Depth: 53 cm or 56 cm  /  20.87 in or 22.05 in.

Internal depth: 49 cm  /  19.29 in.

Shelf depth: 34 cm  /  13.39 in.

Refurbished condition with slight age-related signs of wear, including visible alterations and repairs. The cupboard was presumably shortened in width several decades ago. In addition, the body and door are slightly warped in places. Please see photos. The following work, amongst other things, was carried out during the restoration: the structure was restored (including the doors’ closing mechanism). The surface was carefully cleaned and polished with shellac. A shelf and a clothes rail were added to the interior. A lock was fitted.

The wardrobe can be dismantled into several parts for transport (base, 2 side panels, 2 doors, back panel, shelf and clothes rail, cornice). To reassemble it, these parts simply need to be slotted together and secured from the inside with 4 wooden clamps. See less
