Freestanding modular and removable bookcase with black lacquered metal uprights and four adjustable teak shelves. Scandinavian design, 1960s.
Freestanding modular bookcase, Scandinavian design, 1960s, featuring a lightweight and fully removable structure. The black lacquered metal side uprights are punctuated by thin horizontal elements that allow for the height of the four teak shelves to be freely adjusted. The open construction and the contrast between the dark metal frame and the warm wood surfaces are reminiscent of the modular systems developed in Scandinavian design of the period, based on a minimalist and functional concept of furniture.
Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
