Scandinavian bookcase from the 1950s and 1960s, characterized by the combination of teak and oak details. The structure is composed of two distinct elements: a base unit with two doors and an internal shelf, and an open upper section with two height-adjustable shelves. The upper section is set back from the cabinet, leaving a portion of the shelf free, visually lightening the structure. Particular attention was paid to the design of the base: the four tapered legs feature a slightly tapered profile and are connected to the body of the cabinet by a shaped band, which breaks up the rectilinear geometry of the cabinet and makes the transition between the frame and supports more articulated. The slim profiles of the shelves and sides and the contrast between the teak and oak inserts complete the piece's minimalist design.
