The rectangular mirror plate is framed by an attractive mirrored border, creating additional depth and light while enhancing the piece's refined architectural presence.

The crown is adorned with a finely cast laurel wreath surmounted by a tied ribbon bow, a quintessential Louis XVI motif symbolizing honor and prestige. Elaborate gilt appliqués featuring urns, rosettes, and classical foliated elements embellish the mirrored surround, lending the composition a balanced symmetry and sophisticated decorative appeal.

The combination of reflective surfaces and gilded detailing allows the mirror to capture and amplify light, making it an impressive focal point in a hallway, salon, bedroom, or above a console or mantelpiece. Its timeless neoclassical design integrates beautifully into both traditional interiors and more eclectic contemporary settings.

Presented in good vintage condition with light wear to the gilding, consistent with age and use, contributing to its authentic character and patina. See less
