A handsome late Victorian adjustable piano stool dating from approximately 1880-1900, featuring a beautifully turned tripod base, round solid wood seat, and sought-after cast metal claw-and-ball feet with clear glass balls. The seat raises and lowers smoothly via its original threaded swivel mechanism, allowing it to function equally well as a piano stool, vanity seat, accent stool, or decorative side piece.
Crafted in the Eastlake tradition, this piece showcases elegant turned and reeded legs joined by shaped stretchers, along with a warm aged patina developed over more than a century of use. The combination of functional design and distinctive Victorian ornamentation makes it a versatile addition to both traditional and eclectic interiors.

The legs show areas of finish loss and age-related wear that contribute to the stool's authentic character and patina. One leg has been repaired.
