This charming pair of carved boxwood guardian lions brings a warm, organic presence to any interior. Each lion is finely carved in a seated, upright posture with expressive faces, bulging eyes, and playful tongues. One lion holds a small cub, while the other rests its paw upon a sphere decorated with coin motifs, symbolizing protection and wealth. They are elevated on cylindrical pedestals adorned with a beaded border and a diamond-shaped plaque containing a carved character. The wood exhibits a rich, amber-brown tone with a smooth, polished surface and natural grain patterns.
