Each urn is cast in durable cement and crowned with ram's heads at the rim, a time-honored decorative motif that lends a note of regal whimsy. Fluted vertical lines sweep down the body, while a band of foliate detailing adds refined ornament, and each planter rests on a sturdy pedestal base that keeps the silhouette balanced and grounded.

The original painted finish has developed a natural patina over time, with subtle shifts in texture and tone that come only with age and outdoor exposure. This weathered surface gives the pair an authentic, garden-worn character that is difficult to replicate, and these marks of time are part of their appeal for collectors of vintage garden ornament.

Generously scaled, the planters make a strong statement flanking a front door, framing garden steps, anchoring the corners of a terrace or punctuating a formal garden path. As a matched pair, they bring symmetry and presence to any setting. Plant them with clipped boxwood, topiary or trailing greenery, or use them indoors in a conservatory or sunroom for traditional, garden-inspired style.

Each planter measures 31.5 inches wide by 23.5 inches deep by 30.5 inches high. The pair is in good vintage condition and structurally sound, with no significant damage or visible repairs. The original paint shows age-appropriate wear and patina, along with minor chipping and surface weathering consistent with outdoor use.
